Lyrical Triptych

For this assignment we made a lyrical triptych. What we had to do was pick lyrics from a song and spread them across three panels. Then we had to get a bunch of pictures that had to do with the lyrics and put them on the three panels. To do this we used the Internet for photos and used adobe photo shop again.

My lyrical triptych was a love song. Called "One Year, Six Months by a band called yellow card. The first one was "I;m falling into memories of you and things we used to do.". So i got a picture of outside, an empty field and blue sky I put the lyrics on the left side and took the word memories and copied a bunch of time and put it into a pile. Then I had a girl falling from the sky. Then i did the other two outside in the autumn season. The second one was "follow me there" so i got a picture of a girl following a boy. Ten the third one had the same background of the second one and had two people holding hands. Its said " a place that i can share, with you". I used a filter on both those images making it a sort of Orange color to match the autumn look.

I did mostly everything specific it said "falling", i got a picture of a girl falling. It said "into memories" I made a pile of memories. also i made all of them relate by making the three backgrounds outside. I picked autumn because i thin it is a romantic beautiful season. Part of the lyrics say " a beautiful somewhere" and i thought autumn fits that well. So i just tried to make all the pictures be romantic, people in love. For example beautiful background and couples holding hands

Working with adobe photo shop for these past two projects I am starting to like it a lot. It is very cool how you can take a bunch of pictures and make the one saying. Also how you can add yourself to things. Think i was successful in this past project. But if i could change some things it would be making cut out people fit in better, so it didn't look obvious that they weren't in that picture originally.

Magazine

For this project we were supposed to use adobe photoshop to create a magazine cover that you were on for something famous. You had to take a picture of yourself  and create a heading relating to what you did. I picked to be a famous chef. Also you had to come up with other headings related to the type of magazine. The steps i too to create it was using a worksheet given to us in class. Also we picked a
certain magazine, came up with heading, and put ourselves on the magazine.

My magazine cover looks like a cooking magazine. there is a red and white kitchen in the background. The title is "La Cucina Italiana" and the color is in black and white. then I am standing on the right side with a red shirt and black and white apron to match the colors of the magazine. Also i put the words in whit with a black outer glow.

I was trying to communicate to other chefs. I picked a home kitchen instead of a restaurant to communicate to anyone who cooks not just top chefs at big restaurants. I picked the black and white for everything to match and then added the red to make the cover pop and catch peoples attention.

Looking at the end result I think i did well I met all the requirments as best as I could. I made sure everything tied together well at the end. Also I am pleased that all the words are readable because a lot of magazines I see you cant always read the text and I made sure I didn't have that problem.

Lexi Galuska

Hello my names Lexi a.ka Peanut. Some things I like to do are: play sports preferably softball/baseball, play video games, but the best is just relaxing and watching tv. I love food, I like to cook and eat the food! My favorite is italian food probably because I am half italian. That is basically it besides my "unique" personality... I am very loud, I find a lot of things funny, and I am a HUGE klutz. But... yeah that is about it... that's me!
